Official prize-giving ceremony during ISM

Dylan Lauren, founder and proprietor of Dylan's Candy Bar is to receive the ISM Award 2018. The prize has been conferred by ISM, the world's largest and most important trade fair for sweets and snacks, since 2014 and pays tribute to exceptional services to the sweets and snacks industry.

Dylan Lauren paved the way for one of the largest sweet and lifestyle brands worldwide with the shop and sales concept she introduced in 2001: Dylan's Candy Bar. The flagship store in New York City has continually been on the "Top 10" list of the most famous tourist attractions in New York since its foundation. Over two million visitors a year let themselves be inspired by the unique mixture between sweets, art, fashion and pop culture. Dylan Lauren comes from a famous American family. Her father is the fashion designer Ralph Lauren.

 
Today, Dylan's Candy Bar has several subsidiaries, among others in Chicago and Los Angeles. 7,000 different sweets, creative seasonal products, clothes, jewellery and accessories are sold there.
 
The award ceremony of the ISM Award will be held during an exclusive dinner on the evening of the first exhibition day of the 48th ISM in Cologne (28.01.2018). The laudation will be held by Richard Ross, President of Galerie Candy.
 
The jury of the ISM Award comprises of international representatives from the industry, trade and field of science.
 
ISM organisers are Koelnmesse and its industry sponsor, the International Sweets and Biscuits Fair (AISM) task force.

Parallel to ISM: ProSweets Cologne - the international supplier fair for the sweets and snacks industry. Over 300 companies from the sections manufacturing, packing and ingredients are once again expected in Cologne from 28 to 31 January 2018.
 
Both trade fairs are exclusively open to trade visitors.
